As a support partner of the Copenhagen Communique on Climate Change, CCBF assisted with the global media launch by holding the Hong Kong press conference for the Communique on 23rd September.  The Copenhagen Communiqué, led by The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change and the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, is designed to build momentum towards the international climate negotiations.  It will reinforce the message that a large part of the global business community wants an effective international climate framework in a short, punchy statement, synthesising some of the key thinking that has come from business over the last 2 years. 

This press conference was for all Communiqué signatories and led by CCBF member companies.  It was held after ASrIA’s event for the Carbon Disclosure Report 2009 for Asia ex Japan at Merrill Lynch on 23^rd September.  We would like to thank both ASrIA and Bank of America Merrill Lynch for giving us a venue and lending their support to this campaign.
